The Swiss made IMPRESSA XJ9 Professional automatic coffee center from Jura is the pinnacle of form and function, and is sure to please even the most discerning coffee connoisseur. It features a variable brewing chamber and an adjustable Aroma Plus grinder, which reduces grind time and noise by up to 50 percent while preserving the aroma of the beans, creating the perfect grind every time. The thermoblock heating system provides faster heat-up times than conventional coffee machines and ensures that the water is freshly heated for each beverage. Before brewing the XJ9 uses the intelligent pre-brew aroma system developed by Jura to moisten the grounds and extract the maximum flavor and aroma from your chosen coffee beans. The XJ9 has a single bean hopper which holds 17. 6 ounces and a ground coffee bypass chute for options such as decaf. The front of the machine has a stylish silver panel that will look great in any room, and an intuitive TFT digital screen display with rotary selection. The screen makes it easy to choose from 10 individually customizable pre-programmed beverages, each of which can have its size, strength and temperature adjusted to your preference, for the perfect cup every time. The coffee spout adjusts in height from 2. 6 to 4. 4 inches for splash free dispensing and a perfect crema every time. The XJ9 also has a hot water function with 3 different temperatures allowing you to brew many non-coffee beverages such as tea. Also featured on this machine is an adjustable cappuccino spout with fine foam technology for perfectly feathery foam every time, and a cup illumination feature to properly display your finished beverages. Cleaning is simple with the integrated rinsing, cleaning and descaling programs as well as the easy to remove drip-tray. This machine also uses a CLEARYL filter cartridge and has an adjustable water hardness feature so you will not have to descale it as often as standard machines. The zero-energy power switch ensures the machine will not use energy on stand-by, making it very energy efficient.
